Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of QuarterTime (the “Service”), an AI coaching assistant for junior Australian Rules Football operated by Mamba Digital Pty Ltd from Perth, Western Australia. By creating an account or sending a WhatsApp message to QuarterTime, you accept these terms.

Who can use it

QuarterTime is intended for adult volunteer coaches, club coordinators, and team managers in junior AFL programs in Australia. You must be 18 or older to create an account. You must have a valid Australian mobile phone number that you control.

Your account

You are responsible for the data you enter, including player and parent details. By adding a player or parent contact, you confirm you have a legitimate coaching reason to do so. If a parent asks you to remove their data, do so promptly using the Players page.

You are responsible for keeping your phone secure. Anyone with access to your WhatsApp account can request a verification code and log in to QuarterTime as you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use QuarterTime for anything other than coaching junior football
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems
• Send spam, abusive, threatening, or unlawful messages via the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or attack the Service
• Resell, repackage, or commercialise QuarterTime without our written permission
• Upload data about a child without a legitimate coaching reason

We may suspend or close any account that breaches these rules.

AI advice is not professional advice

QuarterTime uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate session plans, drill suggestions, and coaching advice. The AI can be wrong, inconsistent, or out of date. Treat every suggestion as a starting point, not a directive. You are the coach. Use your own judgement.

QuarterTime is not a substitute for AFL Coach Accreditation, your club’s policies, your league’s rules, or qualified medical, safety, or legal advice. If a drill or suggestion seems unsafe for your players, do not use it.

Player safety

QuarterTime filters contact-heavy drills out for U8–U10 age groups, but you are responsible for checking that any drill is appropriate for the players you coach, the equipment available, and the conditions of the day.

QuarterTime does not provide medical advice. If a player is injured, follow your club’s emergency procedures and seek qualified medical help.

Your data

How we collect and handle data is described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the data you enter. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to operate and improve QuarterTime.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Service availability

We aim to keep QuarterTime running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features depend on third-party services (Anthropic, OpenAI, Meta, Supabase, Vercel) that we do not control. We may take the Service offline for maintenance or in response to incidents.

We may change, add, or remove features at any time. If a change materially reduces what the Service offers, we will email you in advance where we reasonably can.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuarterTime and Mamba Digital Pty Ltd are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, lost time, missed games, or coaching outcomes. This does not exclude any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

For any direct loss, our total liability to you is limited to AUD $100 or the total amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (whichever is greater).

Termination

You can stop using QuarterTime at any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or close your account if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that harms other users or our systems. On termination, we will delete your data in line with the retention periods set out in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Western Australia. Nothing in these terms removes any rights you have that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be emailed to all coaches before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
